AIA has partnered with Marine Agency to create extremely cost effective professional liability and/or property insurance packages exclusively for AIA members. Our goal was to keep the cost affordable and ensure that as an AIA member you will be more than adequately covered for insurance needs. The savings on these policies alone, more than covers your membership fees. Marine Agency has provided insurance coverage since 1922, and has specialized in the beauty trades for over 30 years. They often say “trust an insurance professional who knows your business as well as their own”. Their industry expertise is recognized by the various salon, spa, aesthetic, and electrology associations that refer members to them for insurance protection. They have studied our industry for years and they understand how to secure the appropriate coverage for the services we offer. In addition, their staff has an average tenure of over 10 years – the representatives who speak with customers have a breadth of industry knowledge not often encountered with other carriers. Policies offered by Marine Agency are written through A and A+ rated insurance carriers in order to offer a stable market for coverage. They represent multiple insurance carriers in order to ensure that they continue to offer the best combination of coverage and price for each individual business. Each policy can be customized to suit the needs of each individual business, taking into consideration various factors including coverage needs, exposure to loss, and the types of services provided. Unlike most “association” policies, the coverage limits purchased by our customers are their own. Whereas, most of the “association” or group policies available contain annual aggregate (maximum) coverage limits for the entire group. A bad year on a group policy could potentially “use up” the limits of coverage.
